Join The Core Youth Theatre, an exciting youth theatre group designed for ages 11-16!

Every Thursday evening, participants will work closely with Skylar and Kelly, two professional theatre makers and actors. Through weekly workshops, our young actors will enhance their performance techniques, explore creative storytelling, and develop their confidence on stage. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop wider drama skills and make meaningful, interesting and entertaining theatre!

In the autumn term they will learn performance skills, build their confidence and work on a performance to be performed in The Studio. There will be great opportunities throughout the year to perform at The Core.

This fun drama course offers a unique opportunity to learn from industry professionals, in a warm and friendly environment. Perfect for aspiring young performers, or any young person who just loves acting or being on stage!

HOW TO SECURE YOUR PLACE

• Complete a pre-course registration form for each participant – a link to which will be provided within your booking confirmation email

We cannot secure your place on the course until both of these steps have been completed.

Places are limited to 35, to ensure the best experience for everyone involved.

Parents/Guardian:  A number of bursary places are available to young people who live in Solihull and are in receipt of Free School Meals.  If the young person would like to attend, please email thecoretheatre@solihull.gov.uk at least two weeks in advance of the course start, with a copy of a recent (last 6 months) HAF email, including the young person's name and HAF code. We will then contact you to book a free place, subject to availability. This process must be completed each term.
